The Minimizer Trailer Slick Plate is a 36" x 28" x 1/4" solid polymer plate designed to reduce wear on 5th wheels and upper couplers. It eliminates the need for greasing and can be easily installed on existing and new trailers. This plate increases steer tire life and makes trailer handling easier for drivers. It also protects the upper coupler plate from the elements and prevents metal-to-metal wear. The Minimizer Trailer Slick Plate is practical for frequent hook and drop applications and does not require greasing. It comes with all the necessary hardware and is available in custom sizes.

Make Sure The 5th Wheel Is Not Equipped With A Slick Plate. The Use Of Both Systems May Result In A Failed Jaw Engagement With The King Pin Resulting In A System Failure
Remove Grease From The Contact Surface Of The 5th Wheel Prior To Hooking Up
Always Be Sure 5th Wheels Are Deburred Before Pinning Up To Trailer Slick Plate
Periodically Check Bolts/Nuts And Retighten If Necessary
Apply An Anti-Rust Inhibitor To The 5th Wheel During Regular PM's Or Every 2 Months. This Is Only Recommended To Protect From Corrosion. This Will Not Affect The Self-Lubricating Properties Of Minimizer Trailer Slick Plate
